Kitty
Witajcie! Wloczka, ktorej uzylam to zwykly akryl Soft Touch firmy Red Heart.
Hello! I just finished a kitty for my DD. It was generally very easy to crochet, although sometimes a bit difficult on the fingers, due to the necessary stiffness of the fabric. I used a downloadable Huggy Kitty pattern (in English), purchased from TGLDdoll on Etsy. The plastic eyes and nose were also bought via Etsy, from yeahshop. The yarn I used is Red Heart's Soft Touch. It is generally a nice, soft acrylic, but I found that it develops a considerable bloom. It didn't pill for me at all, but it got very, very fuzzy. I had to use a sweater shaver on the kitty to remove the fuzz.

Primula
Today I present my first knitted doily. The pattern name is Primula from the First Book of Modern Lace Knitting by Marianne Kinzel. I chose this specific pattern not only because I like the design, but also because it seamed like an easy enough pattern for a first attempt at this type of project. I must say that I found it to be no more difficult than other lace knitting I have done so far, or maybe even a bit easier, since instead of purling every other row (which for me is usually a slower process), I knit every other round. I also like the crocheted edging. It looks relatively interesting, it is easy to execute and does not tighten up the outer edge like a traditional cast off can. I definitely recommend this pattern to anyone who wants to try knitting a round doily or a small tablecloth. This one turned out to be 24" in diameter. In terms of yarn, I used a green, roughly size 10 crochet cotton, and worked on size US 0 (2mm) needles. You can see the real colour of the thread in the photo of the crumpled, unblocked doily. Speaking of blocking... I could have done a better job, but, oh well... next time. Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a wonderful day.

Ja Was tylko prosze o przeczytanie tekstu zawartego w tym linku (jest to link do bloga bardzo kochanej kobiety) i przeslanie go dalej. Od czegos przeciez trzeba zaczac, prawda? Moze w koncu cos z tego dotrze do glow ledwo myslacych, slepych, i pozbawionych empatii politykow, urzednikow i pracodawcow. Pamietajcie, ze bedac obywatelami panstwa, macie wplyw, i to duzy, na politykow tegoz panstwa. Nie dajcie im o tym zapomniec. Badzcie tez dla siebie nawzajem dobrzy i wyrozumiali.

My very first gloves/Moje pierwsze rekawiczki
Prosze Panstwa, wydziergalam pierwszy raz w zyciu rekawiczki! Zrobilam dwie niby takie same, niby rozne. Zycze Wam pieknego dnia i pogody ducha.
Drumroll, please... I made my very own gloves for the first time ever! It turns out, they weren't as hard to knit, as I thought they would be. Sure, the project required a bit of concentration considering the ongoing zigzag pattern, the contrasting strip of colour winding around the index finger and the unfamiliar (to me) construction, but they turned out quite ok. I made two different ones, in terms of colour, since I find that fun, funny, and positive in some silly, happy way. The pattern for these gloves is called Io and is by the very same Asa Tricosa, who came up with the Semele Shawl pattern. You'll find additional specs wrpt my gloves (like yarn, needles) below. I didn’t have a model or a photographer, so I had to model and take
photos. Therefore both gloves are shown on my left hand. I tried to
take photos with my left hand, but they turned out to be disastrous. Thank you, everyone, for visiting my blog. Have a beautiful day.
